Music is never excessive—especially great music. That's why we've centered a rich and diverse concert series for the 2026/2027 season in Debrecen, spanning the entire year. The season kicks off with a special Viennese Classical concert by the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, featuring works by Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and the almost-forgotten Antonio Casimir Cartellieri. The second concert marks the 145th anniversary of Imre Kálmán, with performances by Erika Miklósa, István Horváth, and János Balázs, complemented by János Lackfi's creative texts. The third concert showcases Vivaldi’s renowned cycle The Four Seasons—performed in a historically informed manner by the Orfeo Orchestra rather than a modern reinterpretation.
These performances blend renowned voices, new discoveries, elegance, and depth. Your presence will make the experience complete!
