Master Season Ticket - Pécs

Top Tier – In Every Sense!

As the audience in Pécs has come to expect, the Master Season Pass by Filharmonia Hungary brings the very best of Hungarian classical music to the Kodály Centre - joined, of course, by internationally acclaimed soloists. This will be no different in the 2025/2026 season - in fact, this year the spotlight will shine especially bright on the world’s most iconic and influential composers.

The season opens in early October with the Budapest Festival Orchestra, performing Saint-Saëns’ passionate Violin Concerto No. 3 in B minor, featuring Akiko Suwanai as soloist, followed by Tchaikovsky’s rarely heard and emotionally charged Manfred Symphony.
In November, the Purcell Choir and Orfeo Orchestra pay tribute to Mozart with a program that includes a symphony, a concerto, and one of his most monumental sacred works, the Mass in C minor.
December brings the music of Beethoven into the spotlight with an all-Beethoven evening by the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Gábor Takács-Nagy.
In January, Concerto Budapest presents an exciting and diverse repertoire featuring works by Bartók, Rachmaninoff, and Mendelssohn.
On Palm Sunday, György Vashegyi conducts Bach’s timeless St. John Passion.
To close the season, Tchaikovsky returns to the stage with a performance of Eugene Onegin, presented by the Hungarian National Philharmonic under the baton of János Kovács.

Join us for six unforgettable, uplifting evenings with the greatest masters of music!
