A Journey from the Baroque to the Romantic Era – masterworks by Viennese composers, the unique faces of musical dynasties, and two great Romantic favorites – this is what Filharmonia Hungary’s 2025/2026 Keszthely season ticket has to offer.
The season opens with a concert by one of the world’s most sought-after and outstanding ensembles, the Budapest Festival Orchestra, performing in Keszthely with its own soloists.
In December, the Liszt Ferenc Chamber Orchestra will take the stage alongside two world-renowned artists, Elisabeth Leonskaja and István Várdai.
The Savaria Symphony Orchestra performs under the baton of Gergely Vajda, celebrated for his interpretations of Bartók, while the soloist in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto in C minor will be one of today’s most original young piano virtuosos, József Balog.
To conclude the series, Concerto Budapest will present two timeless masterpieces – one each by Brahms and Tchaikovsky.
A truly colorful selection, isn’t it?
