The opening concert of the season in Nagykanizsa, featuring actress Judit Schell and opera singer Boldizsár László, is truly a unique event. On this evening, hits will be performed in tango and Latin styles, gaining new meaning through the performances of these two artists. Moreover, this is not just a concert but a theatrical production directed by the excellent dramaturg Gergely Zöldi, where unique video projections enhance the mood of the songs. Just a few of the pieces featured during the evening: ABBA’s Money, Money, Queen’s I Want to Break Free, Maybe This Time from Cabaret, Roxanne ballad, Lara Fabian’s Caruso, Parole, Parole, Madrid Madrid, András Kern’s Halálos Tangó, János Bródy’s Tango LeMondo, and Fiam Maga kifogta délamerikát. The six-member band, which plays several authentic instruments, will accompany the performance. The unique musical careers of the two soloists intersect on this occasion in a new genre: Judit Schell, a competitive dancer, and Boldizsár László, with a pop music background (Cotton Club Singers), create a blend that is not to be missed by those seeking something fresh, and will delight anyone who loves hits, dance, and musical theatre.
